PASTOR Paul Rhinehart
BIO
Paul Rhinehart is a composer, musician, and an ordained minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ and now a gospel recording artist with the new release of his EP entitled, “I Believe God” which was officially released on August 19, 2023. He is no stranger to music ministry as he is well known in the DMV as a proficient musician and vocalist that has served many local churches, ministries, and mentored other young musicians.
Paul Rhinehart started his musical journey at the age of nine at The Solid Rock Full Gospel Baptist Church under the spiritual leadership of his late father Apostle Nehemiah Rhinehart where he served as the Minister of Music for 24 years. During that time, he composed and produced a live recording featuring The Solid Rock Mass Chior in 1988. In 1996 he wrote, composed, and was the lead vocalist on the title song “Ready” on Mike McCoys and Voices United Cd. He served as the Minister of Music for the Mid-West Prayer Band Convention from 1984-2004. Paul served as the Pastor of Worship and Music at The New Macedonia Baptist Church from 2003-2006. He served as the Director of Music at Mt. Ephriam, Upper Marlboro Md. under the leadership of Dr. Joseph A. Gilmore, Jr. from 2017-2021.
After being faithful in ministry for many years he was called to the Pastorate and was installed as Senior Pastor of The Yadkin Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Salisbury, North Carolina from 2006-2010. He founded The New Destiny Temple of Faith Church in 2010 in North Carolina and relocated the ministry to Maryland in 2017. He is currently on staff at The New Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Patrick J. Walker as the Pastor of Congregational Life and an active member of the music ministry.
Paul Rhinehart shares his life and ministry with his wife, minister Chris Rhinehart and between the two of them they have seven adult children and seven grandchildren.
